first wedding of the year!!! from my experiences the past 5 years, the first saturday of the year has always been sunny from what i remember. but my friends chris & laura had a different experience. the forecast was RAIN!!! YIKES!!! /: but boy did we pray! i prayed that the rain would be all over with in the morning so that there would be nice…dry skies for the ceremony (which was outdoors at the wedding bowl)…and whadda-uknow…GOD totally answered our prayers. rain in the morning and from 3:00-3:30 (ceremony time) the sun shyly popped itself out enough to keep the girls in their tubetop dresses warm. then for portraits, we had B-U-tiful clouds and the perfect sunset! praise GOD!!!
so anyways, i’m still working on the shots, but thought i’d share a photo.

what’s one of my favorite things to photograph at a wedding? the speeches!!! i love speeches! they’re fun to shoot and it gives me a more intimate look into the bride and groom’s life. and…some of them are just funny as heck!!!!

this guy was HI-larious!!! seriously…i don’t think a guest at a wedding has ever made me laugh so much. i wish i could show you his strip tease photos…but for the sake of sparing him of that public embarassment, i’ll keep them locked up. don’t worry they were decent!
here he is again. he actually hurt himself here. let’s just say there was a loud thump on the dance floor. so funny!
