i’m all about the details for this one…

GRAND TRADITION ESTATES WEDDING | FRED+JOY

it may have looked like hawaii, felt like hawaii, smelled like hawaii…but no…it was fallbrook…more specifically the grand tradition estate.   if you’re looking for a tropical hawaii feel for your wedding, this place is it…minus the water of course.
here are a handful of images from joy & fred’s wedding…who were two fabulously fun and sweet people to be around. despite the 100 degree heat (or so it felt), i’m so blessed that i got to be a part of their wedding (:

i love my baby

clevenger family

here’s a lil’ touch of CUTENESS for you!!! i shot john and tsugumi’s wedding 3 years ago…and now they have their bundle of joy…tia. tsugumi and i share the same frustration being the photographer of the family…we hardly have any pictures of us and our kids. so i made sure to throw in plenty of mommy-daughter pictures in the mix.
trying to get an engertic, curious, bouncy 2-year old to stand in between her mommy and daddy’s shadows…NOT easy!oh look…pretty flower…oh yuck…disgusting flower!

john & rachel

john and rachel are two super cool and super nice people! i loved shooting them!!! (after all these years, saying that i shoot people for a living still sounds funny to me /:)  talk about coincidence…check this out…

john proposed to rachel on new year’s eve….larry propsed to me on new year’s eve.

john proposed to rachel at the beach…larry proposed to me at the beach.

john propsed to rachel at a beach in leucadia…larry proposed to me at a beach in leucadia.

what are the odds?

being a new mom, i haven’t had much time to blog lately, but hopefully i’ll be able to update ya’ll (yes…i love to say ya’ll).

this past weekend i made my way up to the rancho bernardo inn where it’s always a pleasure to shoot. not to mention…out of all the places i’ve shot at, this place is most definitely among the top 3 contenders for the best food!

look who won the bouquet toss. uhm…do over…wHaddup!!!
